Brush Maintenance:

These are a few of my favorite products that I use to clean my brushes (their pictures are down below). If you are a makeup artist then you will need to make sure you are cleaning your brushes between uses. After you have done a clients makeup, you are going to want to clean the brush with a few sprays of your favorite brush cleaner. After working the solution into the bristles you are going to want to run it under luke warm water. After most of the color is out of the bristles you will want to lay each of the brushes out on a paper towel to air dry. Make sure to pat out most of the water before you lay flat to dry. You should also re-shape the brushes into their "pre-purchased shape." Another thing to note is the usage of antibacterial brush cleaner or an antibacterial spray. You are going to want to follow the directions located on the bottle to sanitize your brush sets regularly. Now, if you are busy and use your brushes ONLY on yourself, then I would at LEAST wash them once a week. Remember, we too can spread bacteria to ourselves from cuts, acne breakouts etc. Hope that helps!~ xo ASH

Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner (antibacterial formula)

Sephora Quick-Drying Cleansing Wipes

Bare Escentuals Quick Change Brush Cleaner
The Sephora Quick-Drying Cleansing Wipes and The Bare Escentuals Quick Change Brush Cleaner are both awesome for when you are doing makeup on yourself or a client and want to use the same brush multiple times but want to change colors of makeup. These will clean the color off of the brushes but allow for quick drying time so you can get the job done promptly!
Prices do vary but I recently purchased the Sephora brand (top picture) w/ antibacterial agents for $6! That's a great deal for such a fantastic product!
